ENACOM launched the “Public Interest Connectivity” program for digital inclusion

The National Communications Entity (ENACOM) launched the Program “Connectivity Public Interest (CIP)” with the objective of provide ICT services to improve the quality of projects developed by the different entities of the national, provincial or municipal public administration, such as education, health and security, among others.

“We want to provide ICT services and equipment to initiatives of the different areas of government“so that” digital inclusion translates directly into a better quality of life for Argentines. This is one more step to reduce the connectivity gap that exists in Argentina and promote the dynamic cooperation between the different levels of public administration,” explained the ENACOM controller, Juan Martin Ozores.

The first approved project

ENACOM approved the first project presented by the Secretary of Education of the Ministry of Human Capital with the aim of collaborating with the National Literacy Plan. It seeks to strengthen educational and cultural activities, in addition to promoting the integration of the sectors with greater social and economic vulnerability.
