The French striker’s lawyer Kylian Mbappé, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernardassured this Tuesday that the case of sexual abuse against the Real Madrid player of Spain is a “media lynching.”
This Tuesday, the newspapers Aftonbladet and Expressen revealed that the emblem of the France team is being investigated for an alleged rape that occurred during the two days that Mbappé and a group of close friends spent in Stockholm last week.
Regarding this complaint that points to the striker as a suspect in an alleged rape, the person who came out to speak on behalf of the 25-year-old footballer was Maire-Alix Canu-Bernand, who described the case as a “media lynching” and stated that they will file complaints against those who are driving it.
“They tell us that a complaint has been filed, but at this point we don’t even know against whom. A complaint does not prove the truth, a complaint does not prove anything”added Mbappé’s lawyer.
Finally, the footballer’s defense assured: “Following media reports about an alleged rape in Stockholm, the prosecutor can confirm that a rape complaint has been filed with the police.”
