At the same time, the text says: “The importance of receiving with constitutional hierarchy the rights of the community to water and energy is noted, not only in its essential aspect of public services to meet the needs of the population, but also in its strategic function for the integral development of the province”.

In particular, the project refers to “fourth generation rights”, which ““they expand the guarantees of digital inclusion and access to information technologies within the framework of the knowledge society and the new opportunities offered by scientific and technological development.”

Opposition criticism

The complaint that the Supreme Court has in its hands was presented by the national senator Francisco Paoltroniwho joined the Congress for La Libertad Avanza (LLA) but later distanced himself from the libertarian administration.

After learning about the constitutional reform project, the legislator commented: “Gildo Insfrán is losing power. “The fact that we managed to prevent Lijo from entering the Supreme Court and that Lorenzetti became president of the Court, forces him to think about another strategy.”

“Now he resorts again to calling a constituent assembly, like 20 years ago. The loss of his power is accelerating more and more,” he added.

Finally, Paoltroni said that they hope ““an exemplary and historic ruling by the Supreme Court that puts an end to indefinite re-elections in the province.”

For his part, the deputy and president of the Radical Civic Union (UCR) of Formosa, Miguel Montoyadenounced that ““A suit is being tailored to Gildo Insfrán’s electoral ambitions, so that he can obtain a new mandate.”

“They propose a broad and comprehensive constitutional reform, but they intend to resolve it in two days. They will call conventional elections so that in 60 days they resolve a total reform,” considered the radical legislator, in reference to the intention of the Formosa government to approve the project in the Legislature this Thursday.

It should be remembered that last year, Insfrán was re-elected as governor of Formosa by almost 70% of the votes, so he has a mandate until 2027.
