Representatives of the Justicialista Party analyzed the presentation of guarantees and consider those presented by the Riojan governor to be insufficient.
Tension continues in the definitions of authorities of the Justicialist Party (PJ). This Friday, authorities from the Electoral Board gave 24 hours to Ricardo Quintelaone of the candidates for party president, to present the 13,196 endorsements that remain to reach the minimum number required by the electoral regulations.
In the statement, signed by Juan Manuel Olmos and Eduardo López Wesselhoefft, representatives of the PJ at the national level, it is noted that the party Electoral Board “unanimously resolved to make the list official”First the country‘ and grant a single, non-extendable period of 24 hours to the list ‘Federals: a cry from the heart’ to present the missing documentation and/or correct deficiencies in your presentation“.
“After an exhaustive analysis of compliance with the requirements established in the electoral regulations and after the challenges presented and the replacements made by the intervening lists, it has been verified that the list ‘First the country‘, headed by Cristina Fernández de Kirchnerhas presented 106,125 guarantees plus 27,287 in reserve,” the document states.

On the other hand, the list headed by Ricardo Quintela “has presented 70,531, with 60,128 verifiable guarantees, valid results of 48,529 computable guarantees, so 13,196 would be subtracted to reach the total required number of the minimum 2% of the affiliate register established in Electoral Regulation No. 62,465″.
To conclude, the statement reiterates that “due to these shortages, A final deadline of 24 hours was granted to the ‘Federals: a cry from the heart’ list so that the list can deliver the missing physical documentation and the correction of the digital records presented”.
