After the conflict with Banco Nación, Sergio Ziliotto denounced that the Pampean management continues to be closed

After the conflict that the province had with the Pink Housethe governor of La Pampa, Sergio Ziliottoreported that “The closure of the Zonal Management of Banco Nación continues”, a fact that he described as a “further punishment to Pampas society”

weeks ago, The management of Banco Nación had announced the closure of 9 branches located in La Pampa, claiming that the institution was affected by the increase in the rate of gross income set for four months for financial activity.

Given this situation, the Legislature exempted the institution from paying the tax, in search of preserving labor sources, as clarified by the Pampas management. However, this week, the governor denounced that the Bank’s Zonal Management remains closed.

Sergio Ziliotto’s complaint to Banco Nación

On his social networks, Ziliotto published a message in which he denounces that “The closure of La Pampa Zonal Management of Banco Nación continues.”

“On September 26, Banco Nación eliminated its zonal management, using as a crude excuse a temporarily greater contribution to the provincial treasury,” the president shot.

He also shared the official statement in which the Banco Nación de la Argentina (BNA) formalized the fact.

Likewise, the Peronist president recalled the dispute over the attempt to close 9 branches: “Faced with the threat of dismissal of Compovincians, on October 10, a provincial law exempted the BNA from the extraordinary contribution.”

“Even today, the La Pampa zonal management is still eliminated, and the branches depend on another province. The Pampa clients of Banco Nación are second-class citizens for the National Government,” shot.

Finally, Ziliotto stated that “today, with no excuses to invent, his only interest continues to be punishing La Pampa and its people.”

Conflict between La Pampa and Banco Nación

In full conflict with Banco Nación, La Pampa had expressed its categorical rejection of the measures announced by Banco Nación in relation to its activities in this province.

“This is a crude, irrational and unfounded decision. It is one more attack on this Government, a new attempt at extortion. Just for being against this economic model of concentrating wealth in a few and impoverishing the majority. And, the worst, for demanding that they return to us what they illegally took from us.”they pointed out.

At the same time, they indicated that “they are hiding behind a tax increase, temporary for 4 months, to justify making decisions that go beyond the situation: eliminating structures and threatening layoffs.”

Regarding this aspect, the management stated that “there is no doubt that the true cause lies behind it and it is the decision to privatize it and lay off personnel, as they already anticipated and acted accordingly since the current national Government took office.”

And they expanded: “This privatization intention was incorporated in the Omnibus Law project that, although it foundered in the National Congress, was unfortunately promoted by Pampas legislators.”
