However, in the ten months of the year the three subgroups are still widely below the same period in 2023. Last year, “Cars” was 7.7% above the current level, while “Light” registered 14 .3% more than patenting. While the “Heavy” category was 1.1% up.
The automotive market trend reflects a recovery if analyzed month by month in year-on-year comparison. The sharp drop in the first months of the year slowed down until it began to register growth in the last three months:
