The electoral board of the Justicialist Party (PJ) will meet this Tuesday afternoon and will formalize Cristina Kirchner as head of Peronism. The list of the former president, “First the country”is actually the only one that remained standing, after the board rejected “Federales un corazón cry”, which promoted the candidacy of the Riojan governor Ricardo Quintela for the November 17 elections, which have now been pulverized.
“The governor is inside, without signal”was the response they received in Kirchnerism when on Friday they tried to call a pacifying meeting with Quintela. The “no signal” mode continues, since they do not give clues about the judicial course that could put the governor’s list on track.
PJ: they will proclaim Cristina Kirchner as head of the party
The move in court did not go down well with some sectors of Peronism that remained neutral, such as the Buenos Aires president Axel Kicillofwho asked to resolve the internal situation “among colleagues.” Even one of his ministers, Gabriel Katopodis, signed the board resolution that disqualified Quintelaafter communicating with Kicillof, to whom he informed about the errors and inconsistencies in the list. To make matters worse, the visit of Jorge Yoma, representative of “Federales”, to the Casa Rosada to negotiate the Nation’s debt with La Rioja prior to the presentation of the brief to the Servini court was a shot in the foot. Recognized as an error by Quintela himself, that conclave delegitimized part of the claim.
The Rioja governor is in Buenos Aires this Tuesday, they said from those around him, which does not rule out that he will hold meetings against the clock to define the next steps internally. But silence spilled over even into the federal WhatsApp group, once heavily trafficked, where only one message was posted in recent days. Delfor “Pocho” Brizuela, secretary of Human Rights of the provinceuploaded to the Riojan PJ’s Facebook, lamenting “the election that was not.”

Tables in “dialogue” payments
In Kirchnerism they will maintain campaign activities as if the election were to occur. Surprise visits by Cristina Kirchner to retirees, SME entrepreneurs, some planned trips to the interior. But, above all, the tables advance “Cristina President” in different provinces, where it points to the Buenos Aires suburbs and provinces colonized by “dialogue” leaders. At the provincial level, they were activated in Salta, Tucumán and Córdoba, commanded by Peronist governors with greater proximity to Javier Milei. There were also tables in Mendoza, Santa Fe and Neuquén.
Since Thursday, the meetings in Mendoza, Salta and Tucumán. In all three there were deputies and senators. National senator Anabel Fernández Sagasti and national deputy Martín Aveiro, in Mendoza. Senator Nora Giménez and the national deputy Emiliano Estrada, in Salta, first among the Salta councilors on the Cristinista list and potential candidate for governor in 2027. National senator Sandra Mendoza and national deputy Pablo Yedlin, in Tucumán. In all three cases, provincial legislators, councilors and local leaders also participated.

The “Cristina Presidenta” table in Salta was led by Emiliano Estrada, national deputy.
In Tucumán and Saltaland of dialogue-oriented governors who have one foot outside the PJ commanded by Cristina, like Osvaldo Jaldo and Gustavo Sáenzthe intention of the “tables” is strengthen internal Peronist currents that they confront the leaders, with support from the unions. They will even promote the expulsion from the party of the deputies who came to the National Congress for Unión por la Patria or the Frente de Todos but they aligned themselves with La Libertad Avanza in the key votes.
For example, PJ from Salta drives it Esteban “Tuti” Amat, president of the Chamber of Deputieswho responds to Sáenz. The most extreme position seeks the intervention of the party. In Tucumán, the PJ is in the hands of Juan Manzur, distanced from Jaldo, but in the province they assure that it is the latter who has the reins of Justicialism, a fact that he tried to demonstrate with the act of 50 thousand people displayed on October 17. Jaldo’s quest is to “wire” the province so that it remains outside the national vagaries.
