Pérez also recalled a phrase from one of the musician’s songs: “I want to catch you asleep and make you flash that I am God” and added: “The sexual act for Del Pópolo does not need the consent of the other person, only his will matters. It is when he wants, wherever and however you want regardless of compliance.”

During the trial, various messages that the musician sent to the complainants after the events were shown, where he apologized but claimed not to remember what had happened: “He is a total liar, in each of the abuses he claims that he was drunk and that it was the first time it had happened to him“He knows well what he did to the three of them and he does remember what happened.”
