Other proposals seek to reform articles of the Organic Law of Political Parties No. 23,298, establishing as a requirement for recognize the legal-political personality the request of a group of “at least 50 citizen voters from the corresponding district”, a circumstance that until now established percentage values ​​(a figure of no less than four per thousand of the total number of registered voters).

At the same time, and among other modifications, it aims to increase the number of provincial branches necessary (takes 5 to 10) to guarantee recognition as a national party; reduces the days to formalize a alliance (80 days to 70 days before the elections); makes the requirements for party membership; and proposes the expiration of a political party if in one of the last two national elections it does not reach 3% of the votes.

The period granted by the initiative to the adaptation of the party’s organic charters is 180 days.
