Could it have been avoided?: new photo of Liam Payne before his death puts the CasaSur hotel in the spotlight

More than a month after the death of British singer Liam Paynenew details were revealed that could seriously complicate the CasaSur hotel in Palermowhere the former member of One Direction died. Security camera images moments before the tragic event could be key in the investigation.

The images revealed by the British newspaper Daily Mail were taken by the establishment’s security cameras and, according to the date and time of the video, they were between 11 and 15 minutes before his death. The musician was taken by hotel employees in a serious state of intoxication, as indicated.

In the shocking images you can see how Payne is held by the hands and feet by the establishment’s staff, as well as taken to the third floor, where his room was located. Likewise, the British press indicated that the CasaSur workers should have requested medical help immediately.

Liam Payne’s funeral: members of One Direction, Simon Cowell and more said goodbye to the musician

On Wednesday the funeral of Liam Payne and his bandmates One Direction, Simon Cowell and more well-known figures were present to say goodbye to him after his tragic death.

Payne’s former bandmates and friends, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horancould be seen in photos that were spread on social networks.

Also present were Cowell, who managed Payne’s band through his ITV show The X Factor and was very close to him, and former Late Late Show host, James Corden. Other familiar faces could be seen alongside Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy. Following Payne’s death, Cowell suspended auditions for Britain’s Got Talent.

The singer’s body was flown to the UK earlier this month for the funeral after the 31-year-old singer tragically died in Argentina on October 16. Payne fell from the balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires. Band members, Cowell and many others paid tribute to him, including his ex-wife Cheryl Colewith whom he has a son.

Three people have been charged in connection with Payne’s death by “crimes of abandonment of a person followed by death, supply and facilitation of narcotics”. Over the weekend, prosecutors claimed his friendship with an Argentine waiter could have led to his death.
