In the countdown to the premiere of Moana 2 in theaters next Thursday, November 28, Cinemark Hoyts and Disney announced that they will offer subtly screenings on December 8 adapted to the needs and preferences of neurodivergent and/or who choose spaces with reduced sensory stimuli, in order to provide an accessible proposal so that all people can enjoy the new animated film Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Tickets for the screenings, which will take place at 10:30 at the Cinemark Hoyts Alto Avellaneda, Palermo, Soleil and Santa Fe cinemas, can be purchased starting today on the Cinemark Hoyts website and in person at the electronic ticket offices of the rooms.


What will the relaxed screenings of Moana 2 be like?
The relaxed screenings of Moana 2 in the Cinemark Hoyts cinemas will be projected in an environment reduced in stimuli, respecting the needs of people with sensory hypersensitivity who attend. Lighting and sound effects will be softened throughout the movie. You can leave and enter the room as many times as necessary. At the same time, the occupancy of the rooms will be reduced for greater mobility and comfort.
It is important to highlight that, for those who need it, You can attend the movie with the preferred regulation devices (headphones, sensory toys, sunglasses, etc.)which can be used during functions. If someone wants to retire to a quieter place, they can use the spaces specifically designated to take a break from the stimuli.

The initiative is the result of collaborative work, which includes advice from the NGO Salidas Inclusivas, as well as specialists in social and cultural inclusion of neurodivergent people, coexistence and accessibility.
The arrival in theaters of the relaxed screenings of Moana 2 joins an extensive list of screenings for neurodivergent people already provided by Cinemark Hoyts and Disney, and soon, there will also be relaxed screenings of the film Mufasa: The Lion King for neurodivergent people at the Cinemark Hoyts movie chain.
