Thus, Mileism adds to its space a new protagonist who bears the surname of the former president of the Nation, Carlos Menem, whom President Javier Milei says he admires.

Strictly speaking, the young Menem, 23 years old and who goes by his middle name, already had visibility in March of this year when it was learned that his second uncle, the current head of the Chamber of Deputies of the Nationhad appointed him General Director of the Private Secretariat of the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies, a position that is usually occupied by men with proven political experience. “He’s the person I trust the most, my shadow, my eyes. If it’s not him, who do you want me to look for?”Martín Menem defended him, at that time, in an interview. He also has a bank in the Executive Branch, since the Undersecretary of Institutional Management of the General Secretariat of the Presidency is Eduardo “Lule” Menem, his father.

The event in Córdoba was held in the hall Studio Theater, in the provincial capitalwhere LLA usually carries out activities. During the event, the General Secretary of the Presidency, Karina Mieithanked the militants for their support and highlighted the importance of the collaboration of Bornoroni and Menem in promoting the ideas of the party. “I love being in Córdoba, I want to thank you for joining us, for defending the ideas of freedom,” he said. No wonder, the last time Javier Milei was in this district was in October, when he spoke before 2,500 guests who were at the celebration for the 47th anniversary of the Mediterranean Foundation. It was the largest call that the Foundation had in recent years, it was indicated in those days. In addition, hundreds of young libertarian militants were part of the group that “held up” to the Head of State, who at the beginning of his speech stated: “In few places do I play as locally as I do here.” A little over a year ago, LLA won the second round of the elections with 74%.

Martin Menem He emphasized highlighting Córdoba as a libertarian bastion that helped consolidate the party in other provinces. “I am sure that next year, Córdoba will be essential to have more representatives of La Libertad Avanza in Congress,” he said. Bornoroni, in the same direction, highlighted the progress, despite having little representation in Congress. “With just six senators and 39 deputies we achieved historic reforms in less than a year. This province will be decisive in adding more representatives in 2025,” he stated.

Before the event at the Studio Theater, a meeting of LLA youth from six provinces was held, in which the young Menem was one of the main speakers, while Karina Milei and Bornoroni were at his side.
