On the eve of a new summer season, the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires announced that in January the free colonies on vacation, an initiative that will bring together more than 20,000 boys and girls from 4 to 12 years.
The boys will receive breakfast, lunch and snack daily. Likewise, the program will begin on Thursday January 2 and will end on the 31st of the same month, with adapted schedules: 9 to 16 for the conventional mode and 10 to 17 for inclusive colonies aimed at girls and boys with disabilities. Besides, there is no official transportationso the families will be in charge of taking the children.

Who can access the CABA colonies
To access the CABA colonies in 2025, you must comply with the following requirements:
- Residing in the City of Buenos Aires.
- Be between 4 and 12 years old (6 years minimum for the inclusive colony).
- Present the corresponding health record and copies (or photos) of the ID of the guardians and the child.
Summer camp headquarters
The activities will take place at various sports venues in the City, such as the Manuel Belgrano Park, Sarmiento Parkas well as sports centers in neighborhoods such as Schoolboys, Chacabuco and Avellaneda.
As for the inclusive colonies, the designated headquarters are the Sarmiento Park, Manuel Belgrano Park and other accessible points such as the Patricios Sports Center. People with disabilities who wish to participate must have sphincter control.
