In this way The disqualification to be candidates for elective public positions, and to be appointed to hold party positions, will fall on those people who have intentionally committed a crime against the administration, or who commits fraud to the detriment of any public administration. .
Likewise, through the incorporation of article 83 bis, political parties are prevented from registering candidates for elective public positions for provincial and municipal elections, and from appointing disqualified persons to hold party positions in accordance with the provisions of Article 83 of Law ON° 2431.
This disqualification will apply until there is a review or challenge of the aforementioned conviction, which establishes its eventual subsequent revocation or for the duration of the sentence.
Transversal project
From the Rio Negro administration they highlighted that, in the Río Negro Legislature, different projects in this regard had already been presented by various political parties, but “the initiative promoted by the Governor “Alberto Weretilneck represents a superior instance for including intentional crimes in his text.”
In this sense, Governor Weretilneck received the opinions of the provincial legislators of the PRO and UCR, whose blocks had opportunely presented projects in this regard.

The so-called “clean record” has already been sanctioned in Chubut and Mendoza in 2020, in Salta in 2021, Santa Fe in 2022 and Jujuy in 2022. Meanwhile, in the remaining Argentine provinces, different projects have been presented to deal with the clean record.
The project sent to the Legislature by the Governor invites all Rio Negro Municipalities to adhere to this standard.
It should be remembered that the presentation comes after the session that was going to discuss Clean File fell in the National Congress due to lack of quorum, an initiative pushed by the PRO, which was opposed by Unión por la Patria (UP), part of La Libertad Avanza (LLA) and other federal political spaces.
At the same time, other provinces began to give volume to their own projects. As in Río Negro, another similar measure gained strength in Córdoba with the endorsement of the ruling party headed by Governor Martín Llaryora.
