How to complete the process to receive free medications from PAMI?

In-person procedure at agency

  • For the in-person procedure it will only be necessary to bring your DNI and Credential.
  • It is no longer required to attend with the sworn declaration since whoever assists you will be able to see with your personal data in the system if you meet the requirements to access the social subsidy.
  • If you meet the requirements and request up to 4 medications, it will be approved and you will be able to go directly to the pharmacy to pick up the medications with full coverage.
  • In the case of requesting 5 or more medications, the form in question must be completed by the family doctor to support the request.

Process via PAMI website

They enter the PAMI website, to the “Web Procedures” section, select “medications without charge for social subsidy”, and then “Start this procedure”.

  2. You will enter the affiliation number, DNI number and processing number of the latest version of the DNI.
  3. You will complete a contact form indicating whether the person carrying out the procedure is the regular member or a family member, telephone number and email.
  4. A screen will be displayed with the list of requirements to access the social subsidy where the user must confirm if they meet them. If you confirm, you can move forward. Next, 3 questions will appear:

  3. If you have a prescription in paper format. If you answer yes, a field will be displayed where you can upload the document (photo or .pdf) of the recipe. If you select no, you will advance because you have your recipes in electronic format.

Next, an optional text field will appear to leave a comment, for example, the names of the medications you are requesting.

Then, you will click on “Finish uploading documentation”.

Finally, the screen will appear with all the data loaded at the moment and the user will be able to confirm the information provided.

Once these data are confirmed, the process will be started and the case number will appear so that the member can write it down and they will be able to check the status of the process. The response time will be within the first 24 hours.
