How WhatsApp audio transcription works
To start using this function, you must go to Settings > Chats > Voice Message Transcriptions. From there, you can choose the desired language. Once configured, you can transcribe voice messages by long-pressing on the message and clicking “transcribe”.
Once the function is enabled, the app displays a sign under the audio player which implies that it can transcribe the message. The transcript will be displayed below the same audio in text form.
