They confirmed three other indigenous cases of dengue in Rosario

He Ministry of Health of Santa Fe reported the appearance of three new indigenous cases of dengue in Rosarywhich raises seven total registered in the city during this season. According to the last provincial epidemiological report, which collects data until November 30, the province accumulates a total of 16 cases confirmed since the start of the 2024-2025 season, which keeps both the authorities and the community on alert.

Ignacio Mangiamelligeneral director of Intersectoral Policies of the Ministry of Healthhighlighted that, after the operations carried out in the areas where the new infections were detected, no further cases have been identified to date. However, he stressed that it is essential to maintain active surveillance, especially with the arrival of summer, when climatic conditions favor the reproduction of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, the main vector of the disease.

Of the 16 confirmed cases in the province, two were classified as imported, coming from the Castellanos and Rosario departmentswhile five corresponded to people with recent vaccinationincluding cases in the departments July 9, San Cristóbal, General López, Rosario and Las Colonias.

Besides, nine cases were identified as autochthonouswith no travel history, and were distributed between the Castellanos and Rosario departments, where the largest number of recent infections are concentrated.
