Franco lowered the tone of the discussion in the Government after Kueider’s expulsion.
Crosses between Javier Milei and Victoria Villarruel for the Senate session of Edgardo Kueider
In dialogue with Radio Rivadavia, Francos was very clear and categorically lowered the tension regarding what is happening in Casa Rosada, following the expulsion of Senator Kueider. Regarding the positions of Milei and Villarruel he expressed: “There is no institutional conflict, there is a difference in interpretations. “The majority decision of the Senate was to expel Kueider, that is enough, the issue is ready.”
In that sense he added: “We should not give it more attention than it deserves.” Thus, the Chief of Staff tried to put an end to the discussion that generated a stir in the Government in recent hours: “We give it more thought than it deserves. If you ask me, we give attention to the expulsion of Kueider who to the invitation of the president-elect of the United States to Milei for the inauguration,” he said.
“I would leave it there, it is an issue that should not be given more importance,” said Francos, in his attempt to defuse the dispute at the core of the Government. Likewise, the Chief of Staff pointed out: “Milei was clear: the session is void, what is clear is the decision of the Senate, where there were votes for the expulsion,” he specified, explaining that although the session in the Upper House be done again, “there were 60 senators who voted to expel Kueider,” so “it is not necessary with that result to hold the session again.”
Crosses between Javier Milei and Mauricio Macri: the relationship between LLA and the PRO
In another section, Francos also spoke about the relationship between La Libertad Avanza and the PRO, that is, between Milei and Mauricio Macri, in view of what the 2025 elections will be.
Precisely the Kueider case unleashed Macri’s annoyance on the networks during the week and the Chief of Staff, once again, put down cold cloths. “Macri was upset, I think not all his senators voted the same way,” he said.
Regarding the electoral alliance, Francos said: “I cannot imagine an election in which we go separately with the PRO. Unity is strength, if we disperse it will not be good for this space.”}
“I am convinced that President Javier Milei will have the necessary strength to win the election, it is important to find this common space to succeed,” Francos concluded.
