ANSES changes in 2025: who will be able to retire before age 60

If you have any questions prior to starting the retirement process, virtual consultations can be made through Mi ANSES.

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) is in charge of processing the retirements and pensions of the vast majority of workers, and they are the ones who will later pay the corresponding monthly salaries. You must go through them to complete the procedure and they have certain requirements.

For those who comply with the standards established according to the labor law, they may request retire before 60. Although 30 years of service contributions are still required, there are certain conditions that allow workers to retire up to ten years before of the established age.

Who can retire before age 60

To qualify for early retirement, the job performed must comply with certain unhealthy working conditions, either due to the nature of the role or the impact on the worker’s health. For those who have worked in mixed modalities, combining common tasks with unhealthy or high-risk activities, a specific calculation is made that determines the minimum age and the years of contributions necessary.

Specifically, those two special conditions ensure early retirement under labor laws:

  • Unhealthy environments: This category includes those who work in conditions declared unhealthy under Decrees 4257/68 and 121/77. Upon completing 30 years of service, men can retire from the age of 55, while women can retire from the age of 52.
  • Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands: This special regime applies to those who have worked in Antarctica or performed specific tasks under Decree 4257/68. Includes embarked personnel, port stevedores, foremen and others. The minimum age to access retirement in this case is 55 years, for both men and women.
