The salary increase will be implemented staggered, retroactive and cumulativebeginning November 1 and continuing through the end of March. The structure of the increases is distributed as follows:

- 5.5% in November, calculated on the basic salaries in force as of October 31.
- 2% in December, on November salaries.
- 1.8% in January, on December salaries.
- 1.5% in February, on January salaries.
- 1% in March, on February salaries.
How the joint negotiation continues
The agreement was formalized with the main business chambers of the metalworking sector, which include ADIMRA, AFARTE, AFAC, FEDEHOGAR, CAMIMA and CAIAMA, within the framework of the so-called branch 17. In addition to salary increases, the agreement includes a review clause which will be activated on March 15, with the objective of evaluating inflation rates and determining the need to apply new salary increases if considered necessary.
UOM Rio Grande

The UOM closes jointly with a 12.3% salary increase and a review clause in March.
The minutes of the agreement have already been presented to the Ministry of Labor and are awaiting official approval. It should be noted that, in the previous agreement of August last year, the UOM had closed a four-monthly agreement of 14%, with retroactive increases. In that agreement, the increases were distributed as follows: 4% in July, 4% in August, 3% in September and 3% in October.
How are the salary scales in January?
The last joint agreement had been signed in August 2024. This understanding included a staggered increase – retroactively – of 14%. This is how the salary increase brackets were divided:
- 4% increase in July 2024
- 4% increase in August 2024
- 3% increase in September 2024
- 3% increase in October 2024
After the cessation of the previous scheme, workers’ salaries remained frozen:
