According to consulted sources, the firm would have paid around US$20 million for this leading firm in the pet segment.

From this integration, these products will be complemented with Biogenesis Bagó’s current portfolio to give rise to a global portfolio of more than 200 solutions for this segment.

The acquisition also adds to the technology transfer agreement that Biogenesis Bagó signed with the Paraná Institute of Technology (TECPAR) for the production of anti-rabies vaccines in Brazil and the recent acquisition of Campo Largo, a manufacturing site where it will produce more than 10 million doses of vaccines for companion animals. The sum of these milestones positions Biogenesis Bagó as the largest producer of veterinary vaccines in Latin America.
