The executive director of the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM), Alejandra Cardonadetailed in dialogue with Energy Report preparations for the next ArMinera, the flagship event of Argentine miningwhich will take place in The Rural from May 20 to 22.
ArMinera 2025 is an international exhibition organized by the CAEM and Messe Frankfurt Argentinawhich brings together all the players in the mining sector, with lectures by the industry’s leading exponents, business rounds and the presentation of the latest advances in technology, equipment and services.
On this occasion, the surface area for the stand and exhibition places will be 18,000 square meterswhere more than 280 exhibitors will present their advances in products and services, to an audience estimated at more than 12,000 people, between businessmen and professionals from different countries. There will also be the participation of diplomatic and provincial delegations, with the assistance of governors, ministers and secretaries of the mining areas.
In keeping with the current times and being a key moment for mining, Cardona stated that “We are facing an ArMinera that will also be key for all actors related to the sector” and gave as an example the great interest generated: until the beginning of January more than 85% of the available places had already been sold, which led her to project that “It will be a record exhibition.”

At the ArMinera fair you can learn about the latest technological advances in equipment for the mining sector.
With respect to other editions, Carmona assured this medium that the CAEM is planning a ArMinera “different, more in line with the current moment of the industry, with a lot of focus on being a key space for generating synergies and promoting investments.”
According to the executive director of CAEM, Interest is being awakened not only in the mining public, but also “in a multiplicity of sectors that want to understand more about mining and discover new business opportunities.”
In this 26th edition of ArMinera the program will be presented “Connecting Projects”which will seek to facilitate access to financing for the implementation of more projects.
According to the organizers, the exhibition will be a great showcase to present the progress of the projects and the possibilities that national mining offers to the world.

During the exhibition there will also be space for academic activities and lectures by experts, businessmen and senior officials.

As happened for the first time in the 2023 edition, on this occasion the ArMinera will also be carbon neutralconsolidating the commitment of the industry and organizers to sustainable practices.

As in recent editions, at ArMinera 2025 there will also be simulators so that attendees can live a unique experience in driving heavy vehicles.
With the aim of promoting sustainable practices, two years ago ArMinera measured the Carbon Footprint before, during and after the event to identify opportunities for improvement and be more efficient in future broadcasts of the event.
