The Collection Agency of the province of Buenos Aires (ARBA) intensified its control operations in countries and nautical nurseries in Tigre and San Fernando, where it managed to recover more than $54 million in taxes owed by high-value vessels and detected 39 thousand square meters built without declaring before the treasury.
The executive director of ARBA, Christian Girardpointed out that “the immediate regularization of debts by the owners of these luxury vessels shows that there are speculative attitudes. At the real estate level, the inspections carried out in the countries of Santa María, Santa Clara, Santa Teresa, Marinas H, San Gabriel, Santa Ana and El Canal revealed that half of the 39,153 square meters built without declaring were taxed as vacant landconfiguring a significant evasion of the Real Estate Tax.
