According to an article in The Hollywood Reporter, Gosling is in negotiations to appear in the filmwhich has been in development since 2022. There are few details about the plot, but according to the medium’s sources it is an independent film that will not be connected to the main Skywalker saga.
The article also says that the project’s timeline would be accelerated if Gosling agrees to participate, as the interest is a late development in production and Filming could begin as early as spring 2025.
