The technological giant Microsoft said Wednesday that it foresees solid income, above what analysts predictedfor the next quarter, despite the economic uncertainty in the United States unleashed by the president’s tariffs, Donald Trump.
The company indicated that it expects an income between 73,150 and 74,250 million dollars in the fourth quarter, above the 72,260 million the analysts estimated.
In addition, Microsoft forecasts an Azure growth, its cloud computing platform, between 34 % and 35 %, more than 31.5 % that experts predicted.
Goal acknowledged that uncertainty affects its business and bets on AI
The American technology Meta acknowledged on Wednesday that the “uncertainty” for the commercial war that the president of the United States began, Donald Trump, is affecting his business, but was optimistic about his great commitment to artificial intelligence (AI).
At a virtual conference with analysts, the Chief Financial of Meta, Susan Li, explained that he anticipates “infrastructure costs of ‘hardware’ increased in 2025, mainly due to uncertainties in the global supply chain and commercial discussions underway.”
Li, asked about her forecasts, spoke of “macroeconomic uncertainty” since April 2, when Trump announced a series of tariffs, and although she assured that the accounts that month have been “healthy,” added that it is “soon and difficult to know how things will develop in the quarter.”
Even so, he added, the firm is “mitigating” commercial risks “optimizing the supply chain”, although it did not detail how.
Meanwhile, Meta’s maximum executive, Mark Zuckerberg, who has starred in a sound approach to Trump, said the firm is “well positioned” for that uncertainty and focused on the development projects of AI, which have already paid off in recent months.
