He Ministry of Economy He formalized a new financial operation with the Central Bank (BCRA) to continue ordering the short -term debt maturity profile. Through a joint resolution published on Monday, the Secretariats of Finance and Finance approved the extension of the issuance of the “National Treasury letter capitalizable in pesos with expiration on August 29, 2025” (LECAP S29G5) for a maximum amount of up to $ 1 billion original nominal value.

The decision responds to the need to facilitate the conversion of two letters in the hands of the BCRA: the LECAP S18J5expiring on June 18, 2025, and the LECAP S30J5expiring on June 30 of the same year. The objective of the treasure is to extend maturity and unify placations.

According to the resolution, the operation was agreed with the Central Bank and will be completed with liquidation this Tuesday, June 10. The prices of the instruments to be exchanged will be determined based on the values ​​that appear on the screens of Argentine stock markets and markets (Byma) before 3:30 p.m. on Monday, with 24 -hour settlement.

With this measure, the treasure manages to replace instruments that overcome in June For a new expiration at the end of August, which gives some more air to the mid -year payment profile. The operation also reflects the coordination between the Treasury and the Central Bank in the administration of the portfolio of public instruments in pesos.

In addition, the resolution delegates in different technical areas of the Ministry of Economy the signing of the documentation necessary to implement the operation.

The measure enters into force from the same Monday, June 9, As stipulated in the regulatory text signed by the Secretary of Finance, Pablo Quirno Magrane, and the Secretary of the Treasury, Carlos Jorge Guberman.
