On February 16, the Moscow prosecutor’s office published a video with the parents of eight-month-old twin brothers, who were found in one of the apartments of a residential building on Plekhanov Street in Moscow in a serious condition.
The children were hospitalized. According to preliminary data, they were not fed for a long time. Parents were in the apartment in a state of intoxication.

The woman added that the boys were in the hospital because one of them allegedly had a congenital heart defect.
The discovery of malnourished babies became known earlier in the day. Investigators have previously established that the children’s parents systematically abused alcohol and led an antisocial lifestyle.
A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of crimes under Art. 156 and Art. 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Improper performance of duties for the upbringing of a minor”, “Torture”).
