In the city of Mytishchi near Moscow, a nine-month-old child was hospitalized with signs of poisoning.
According to Izvestia, the child’s father brought hashish into the house. At night, when the man returned home, the narcotic substance fell out of his pants pocket and rolled under the sofa. There he was found and swallowed by a baby crawling on the floor.
The child was urgently hospitalized. Doctors washed his stomach and gave him the necessary drugs. Doctors are currently awaiting test results.
The prosecutor’s office of the Moscow region initiated an investigation.
“During the inspection, which was entrusted to the Mytishchi city prosecutor’s office, the circumstances and causes of the incident will be established, an assessment will be made of the fulfillment of the requirements of the legislation on minors, including parents in the performance of their parental duties,” the supervisory agency’s Telegram channel reports.
At the end of January, a one-year-old girl was hospitalized with drug poisoning in the Leningrad Region. The child was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
