Two policemen were beaten at the Tulskaya station in the Moscow metro

Two Moscow metro passengers beat two police officers in response to a demand to undergo an identification procedure. A criminal case has been initiated against the offenders, according to the website of the investigative committee for the capital.

It is noted that the incident occurred on the evening of February 17 at the Tulskaya station of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya metro line in Moscow.

According to the investigation, one of the suspects categorically refused to the demands of the authorities to proceed to the police room to establish his identity, after which he began to push and wave his hands at the police officers. The second suspect kicked one policeman in the torso area, and another with several punches in the head area, after which he fled.

“The suspect born in 2000 was detained on the spot. In the near future, investigations will be carried out with him. The search for the second suspect is underway, ”the press service of the Investigative Committee said.

Saidakram H, a 21-year-old native of Tajikistan, turned out to be detained. At the same time, he did not directly beat the policemen, but only pushed them away. The police are looking for his friend.

The case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Use of violence against a representative of power”). Under this article, attackers face up to five years in prison.

Earlier, on February 11, it was reported that the court arrested those accused of beating police officers during detention at a playground in the capital. The incident took place on the night of February 9th. The police received a statement according to which two brawlers drank alcohol at the playground on Proletarsky Prospekt. Two policemen arrived at the scene.

During the arrest, the men began to resist. One of the attackers began kicking, the second grabbed the police baton that had fallen to the ground. On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Use of violence against a representative of power”).
