The court arrested for one month and 28 days two minors who had beaten their mother and daughter at a bus stop in Yekaterinburg. This was announced on Friday, February 18, in the press service of the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of the city.
On the evening of February 11, 2022, two teenagers insulted a woman in a city shuttle bus, the Investigation Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region reported. Leaving the minibus, the attackers “used violence” against the two victims.
It is specified that the suspect, born in 2005, harmed the health of one of the women of moderate severity.
On this fact, criminal cases were initiated in accordance with Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of Russia (“Hooliganism committed by a group of persons”) and Part 1 of Art. 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health”).
Law enforcement officers interrogated witnesses of the incident. A number of examinations will be carried out.
“Measures are ongoing to establish all, without exception, the circumstances of the incident,” the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee added.
On February 16, a resident of Yekaterinburg told Izvestia that one of the attackers had already committed a similar crime – he had previously beaten her son.
The bully began to demand a phone and a bank card from the teenager. Upon hearing the refusal, the attacker stabbed the teenager in the head. The moment of the beating was captured on video.
However, after the incident, the teenager was not punished. According to the mother of the victim, his “high-ranking relatives” helped the hooligan in this. The attacker, having learned that they wanted to write a statement against him, began to write to the victim in social networks, persuading him to abandon such intentions. The bully noted that he hit him under the influence of substances.
The governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, said that teenagers had been “nightmares” for a whole district of the city for a long time, and promised to look into the situation.
