The death of actor Boris Nevzorov was a serious loss for the world of theater and cinema. This was announced on February 18 by Honored Artist of Russia Olga Kabo.
The death of Nevzorov became known earlier that day, the People’s Artist of Russia died at the age of 73 from the effects of COVID-19.
“Borey and I acted in films together several times. For some reason, we played husband and wife all the time. The directors always saw us as a married couple, we even joked that maybe we missed something in life? she shared.
The last picture in which the actors starred together was Crane in the Sky. According to Kabo, Nevzorov is “a very warm person, professional, demanding.”
“A man of creativity, a man of the theater. This is a serious loss for the theatrical world and for cinema. He was a serious, great artist, ”added the artist, expressing her condolences to the family and friends of her colleagues.
Boris Nevzorov is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, film director, teacher. In his youth, Nevzorov became interested in the stage and entered the Shchepkinsky school, but two years later he stopped studying. Later he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School.
Nevzorov received his first acting experience at the New Drama Theatre. The cinematic career of the artist began with a leading role in the melodrama “Roads”. Since 2005, the actor has served at the Maly Theater.
Nevzorov gained great fame after the works “Young Russia” and “Moscow Speaks”. For the first picture, he was awarded the Vasilyev Brothers State Prize of the RSFSR. The second work allowed him to receive a silver medal named after Dovzhenko.
Among the iconic works of Nevzorov are such paintings as “Find and Defuse”, “The Best Road of Our Life”, “City Above Our Head”, “First Guy”, “Everything Ahead”, “Ravines”, and others.
