Traffic police officers returned to a foreigner her son, who was lost in the center of Moscow. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, on Friday, February 18.
“During the service on Kaluga Square, a traffic police inspector noticed a child who was unaccompanied by adults. He was scared and confused. The situation was complicated by the fact that the boy did not speak Russian. However, he gave his name and said in English that he is a citizen of Italy and he is 10 years old, ”a representative of the department told the Moscow city news agency.
The policeman immediately contacted the Italian embassy. Employees of the diplomatic mission helped to find out the contacts of the mother of the child. The inspector called the woman and said that her son had been found and was sitting in a patrol car on Kaluga Square. The woman arrived at the traffic police post.
According to the foreigner, her son became interested in reading, did not follow her out of the bus and got lost. The woman also thanked the Metropolitan Police for their help.
