The body of former Deputy Minister of Justice Vladimir Yalunin, who drowned in the Moscow River, was discovered by forensic experts of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on February 20.
According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the body was found 200 meters from the place where it fell through.
The accident happened on February 5 in the suburbs. The disappearance of the former politician became known on February 6. The incident occurred in the village of Aksinino, near the garden association “Sunny Beach”. The ex-official the day before, at about 18:00, left for the field on an ATV, after that nothing was known about his whereabouts. He also did not get in touch, since the 70-year-old Yalunin did not have a phone with him. A criminal case has been initiated into the disappearance of a man. Criminologists of the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee joined the search.
Rescuers as a result of search work found a broken ice and a vehicle that fell into the water. Later, the all-terrain vehicle was removed.
Commenting on the incident on February 6, the nanny of the child of former Deputy Minister of Justice Vladimir Yalunin, who disappeared in the Moscow region, called the ex-official a good and peaceful person.
