The frontman of the Lyube group, Nikolai Rastorguev, himself determined the date of the band’s appearance – January 14, 1989. The artist told Izvestia about this on the eve of his 65th birthday.
“To be honest, I set this date. That day we recorded our first two songs in the studio. Why not make it his birthday? I appointed, ”the artist recalled.
Rastorguev said that he was satisfied with the choice of profession and did not consider his experiences in cinema as an application for an acting career.
“The acting profession needs to be learned. It’s one thing, there is some data – it’s good, it always helps. A person can act in a film once, playing himself, but the second time will not work, ”Rastorguev shared his opinion.
According to him, acting is very hard work, and filming a movie is “a dreary and very tiring process.”
The singer also answered Izvestia’s blitz questions. He called the Moscow region his favorite place in May, but he refused to name a song that you can listen to endlessly, emphasizing that “sometimes you need to change the record.”
Nikolai Rastorguev began his professional career in the Six Young group. Since 1989, he has been the vocalist of the Lyube group. His discography includes two solo albums and 16 group albums.
