A six-day working week awaits the Russians in March, followed by three days off. HeadHunter lawyer, labor law expert Tatyana Nechaeva told about this on February 21.
“In order to rationally use weekends and non-working holidays by employees, days off can be transferred to other days, so in March we will have a shock six-day working week from February 28 to March 5 (working Saturday),” Nechaeva said in an interview with the RIA Novosti agency. »
The expert clarified that those who usually work five days a week will have six days in March. After that, the Russians are waiting for three days of rest – from March 6 to 8 – in honor of International Women’s Day.
In addition, the expert added that on holiday Tuesday, February 22, the working day will be reduced by an hour. And on Wednesday, February 23, the Russians will have a day off, according to the production calendar, in honor of the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
On February 20, it became known that Russians would spend about twice as much on gifts for women by March 8 than for men by February 23. This is evidenced by the results of an Ozon marketplace survey conducted on the eve of gender holidays.
According to the survey, the average amount of a gift for these holidays in 2022 is about 3.5 thousand rubles, which is 6.5% higher than last year.
Almost 40% of respondents want to spend from 1-2.5 thousand rubles on a gift by February 23. 17% do not plan to buy presents for more than 1,000 rubles, and only 11% of Russian women are ready to part with more than 5,000 rubles. For gifts by March 8, 36% of respondents are going to spend 2-4.5 thousand rubles – an amount approximately twice as large as on February 23.
