Workers in a number of professions can apply for housing from the state or an enterprise. On Monday, February 21, Polina Gusyatnikova, Senior Managing Partner of the law firm PG Partners, told about this.
“Most often, doctors, teachers, military personnel, judges, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Security Service, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the TFR, the prosecutor’s office, the Tax and Customs Services, as well as deputies, janitors, foresters, employees of timber industry enterprises and fishing enterprises can apply for apartments from the state,” she explained in a conversation with the Prime agency.
According to the expert, there is no official list of professions whose representatives can get real estate, so other specialists can also apply for housing. It depends on the needs and importance of a particular employee for the enterprise.
“The main condition for obtaining service housing is that there should not be other real estate in the property,” Gusyatnikova noted.
The expert recalled that service housing is provided for the period of service, it cannot be privatized, however, upon agreement with the management, the employee can legally register ownership of it.
Earlier, on February 18, it was reported that Sberbank raised mortgage rates by one percentage point (p.p.) to 11.3%. Rates on state support programs remained within the previous values.
