A taxi driver in the Tverskoy district of the capital hit a five-year-old boy and fled the scene of the accident. This was reported in the press service of the metropolitan traffic police on Monday, February 21.
“The accident happened at the address: 3rd Tverskaya-Yamskaya street, house 58/5, a five-year-old boy was injured. Previously, the taxi driver completed the turn maneuver when the green traffic light was already lit for pedestrians, ”the press service told the Moscow city news agency.
Currently, employees of the control center of the traffic police and the traffic police of the Central District are taking all necessary measures to identify the offender and his location, the department stressed.
Earlier Monday, one person was injured in a two-car accident in the Veshnyaki district of Moscow. All details of the accident are being investigated.
On the same day, an accident involving six cars occurred in the south of the capital. Specialists of the operational services of the city are working at the scene of the incident, the Federal News Agency reports. Information about the victims in the accident has not yet been reported.
