Actress Feklenko expressed condolences on the death of Oleg Vavilov

Soviet and Russian actress Natalya Feklenko expressed condolences on the death of the People’s Artist of Russia Oleg Vavilov and called him the most talented artist.

“He remained until the last second an actor of the Moscow Art Theater School. We studied together at GITIS, we were close people. He was a two-meter handsome man with an amazing voice that drove women crazy. I will never forget when he came to us at the Satire Theater, how wonderful it was and how he played and got used to the role, ”Feklenko said in an interview with Evening Moscow on Tuesday, February 22.

The artist noted that in recent years Vavilov was seriously ill, but did not talk about his diagnosis, writes RT. She expressed condolences to the family and friends of the actor.

The death of Oleg Vavilov became known earlier on February 22. The artist died at the age of 72. It was clarified that his death was not related to COVID-19, the website kp.ru notes. The place and time of farewell will be announced later.

Oleg Vavilov is a graduate of GITIS, since 2004 he has served in the Theater of Satire, the Moscow city news agency reports. In 1990 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR, and in 1996 – People’s Artist of the Russian Federation. He has dozens of roles on his account, clarifies Life.ru.

Vavilov is known for his work in the series “There was no sadness”, “Zucchini “13 chairs”, “A month in the village”, “Poor Nastya”, “Escape”. He also took part in such projects as “Strange Woman”, “Thank you all! ..”, “End of Eternity”, “God’s Eye”, recalls REGNUM.
