According to him, before choosing cosmetics, it is best for men to consult a dermatologist-cosmetologist to determine the type of skin, and based on this, select personal care products.
The specialist noted that such products as gels and foams for washing, scrubs, tonics to restore skin acidity and daily creams are suitable for any man.
“The main thing that is suitable for all men is a gel or foam for washing according to skin type twice a day, a scrub on average once every three days, preferably with small particles so as not to injure the skin, if there are no active rashes on face, a tonic to restore skin acidity, a daily cream with SPF, if spring or summer, or just a protective moisturizer, ”RIA Novosti quotes the words of the doctor.
In addition, Miroshnichenko noted, men can also use women’s cosmetics, since it practically does not differ in composition from men’s. Sometimes the difference lies only in the concentration of substances.
Speaking about cosmetic procedures, the dermatovenereologist pointed out the great demand among men for botulinum toxin therapy. These are injections that are made between the eyebrows, in the corners of the eyes and on the forehead to eliminate expression lines.
“Biorevitalization and mesotherapy of the face, also very popular among men, is mesotherapy and plasma therapy of the scalp to stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss. If we talk about care products, this is facial cleansing, ”concluded the expert.
Earlier, a survey conducted with the participation of more than 6.3 thousand Russians from all regions of the country showed that on February 23, the majority of women surveyed in Russia prefer to give perfumes and cosmetics – 52.6% of respondents answered this way. In second place are clothes and accessories (40.9%). As a gift for Defender of the Fatherland Day, edible or sweet gifts (31.7%), useful household and household goods (29.8%) were also popular.
The least pleasant gifts on Defender of the Fatherland Day were various souvenirs, figurines, statuettes – 20.3% of the men surveyed will not like such a present. 19.3% will not be happy with alcohol, and 15% – with personal care products: shaving foam, shower gel, shampoo, etc. 12.15% would not like to receive household items (slippers, dishes, etc.) on February 23 , 9% – money, and 7.4% – sweets or food.
