Investigators are establishing those responsible for the death of a girl born in 2010 in one of the most popular thermal resorts in the Chelyabinsk region “Baden-Baden” in the Yektulsky district. This was reported in the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
“Currently, a complex of necessary investigative actions is being carried out, the circumstances of the incident are being established. The guilty officials of the complex that provided this service are being identified, who did not provide proper control to ensure the safety of persons in the water, ”the official website of the department says.
Now the senior assistant to the prosecutor of the Chelyabinsk region for media relations, Natalya Mamaeva, informed that law enforcement officers will give a comprehensive assessment of the activities of employees of the Baden-Baden center.

The incident was reported earlier on February 23. An 11-year-old girl drowned in a hot tub. According to one version, her long hair was sucked in by a high-pressure hose at the time of immersion under water. The child did not have enough strength to get out, as a result of which the situation led to a fatal outcome. Surrounding did not find her missing, and the complex worked for several more hours.
“I did not see. I know that the girl drowned, ”said one of the visitors to the center.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Production, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products, performance of work or provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.”
On February 7, the Investigative Committee of the Astrakhan Region initiated an investigation into the death of a nine-year-old girl in the village of Pokrovka, Akhtubinsky District.
On January 30, rescuers reported finding the body of a seven-year-old boy in a river in the Leningrad Region. The child fell through the ice on January 24, the deceased was found 70–80 m downstream from the scene.
