One person was injured in a gas explosion in a residential building in Moscow

As a result of a gas explosion in a residential building in Moscow, one person was injured.

According to Izvestia, the incident occurred on February 25 in Podbelsky passage in the east of the capital.

The man was taken to the hospital with burns. Also, doctors recorded multiple shrapnel wounds in him, the Zvezda TV channel clarifies.

The epicenter of the explosion, according to the site kp.ru, was on the third floor of a five-story residential building. As a result of the domestic gas explosion, two interior ceilings were destroyed and the glazing was damaged. As the 360 ​​TV channel notes, other apartments were not damaged as a result of the explosion.

According to preliminary information, the resident of the apartment took medication and fell asleep. Before that, he forgot to turn off the gas in the kitchen, which caused the explosion.

The Investigative Committee launched an investigation into the incident.

On February 14, a gas explosion occurred in a residential building on the 1st Pankovsky passage in the city of Lyubertsy near Moscow. As a result, the glazing was broken, and a man was injured. The victim was hospitalized.
