Russia to resume flights with China and Indonesia

From March 14, Russia will resume flights with China and Indonesia. This was announced on Friday, February 25, to journalists at the operational headquarters for combating COVID-19.

“Following the discussion and taking into account the epidemiological situation in individual countries, it was decided from March 14, 2022 to resume regular flights with the following countries on a reciprocal basis: Indonesia on the Moscow-Denpasar route with a frequency of three flights a week, China on the Moscow-Beijing, Moscow routes -Guangzhou and Moscow-Shanghai with a frequency of one flight per week on each route,” the headquarters said.

In addition, on March 1, Russia lifts restrictions on regular and charter flights to Cyprus. Earlier, on January 21, it became known that from March 1, vaccinated or recovered COVID-19 tourists will not need to do a PCR test to enter Cyprus. In addition, the period of validity of vaccination certificates for entry into the country is being extended from seven months to nine. Also from March 1, the number of regular flights to Greece is increasing.

On February 8, it became known that low-cost airline Pobeda will launch 17 new destinations from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport in 2022, doubling its flight program.
