The construction of the National Space Center (NCC) is important for Russia. This was announced on February 27 by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On Sunday, the head of state visited the territory of the State Space Research and Production Center. M.V. Khrunichev, where a large-scale reorganization is underway, including the construction of buildings of the center.
“To be honest, I didn’t even expect to see such a serious team here. I want to say in advance that many people are probably jealous of those who work here, since the construction is really very important and grandiose,” Putin said.
According to the Kremlin press service, as a result of the reorganization, a unique cluster of space and related industries will appear. It will provide jobs for more than 50 thousand people.
Putin stressed that the plans for the NCC are big. The center is significant not only for the space industry, but for the whole of Russia.
The head office of Roskosmos, as well as the production cluster of the Technopolis Moscow economic zone, will be created at the NCC.
