In an exclusive interview with Izvestia, the actress, the legend of French cinematography, said that she had lived her first life in cinema, and her second life was associated with many years of animal protection work.
“I could not imagine that she (life in the cinema. – Izvestia) would turn out to be so magnificent, full of fabulous events, turn me into an icon, but deprive me of my freedom,” Bardo shared.
The theater and film actress called her second life difficult, but worth all the effort spent.
“I started everything from scratch. I had to learn everything all over again, endure unimaginable trials, sacrifice everything to create my foundation. They made fun of me then, they said that I was doing all this for the sake of self-promotion. I shed a lot of tears, but I didn’t give up!
