Not only the winegrowers in the Danube region agree: 2021 will be a great, promising vintage! The fresh wines present themselves with an unusual variety of aromas and a classy acid structure. The best opportunity to taste the new wines is the common wine spring in Kamptal, Kremstal and Traisental. On April 23rd and 24th, 2022, around 200 wineries in the three wine-growing regions will open the doors of their wine cellars, clean up the press house and snack bar, prepare small delicacies, set up benches and tables in the blooming outdoors and invite you to the first exciting tasting of the new vintage.
All participating winegrowers can be visited with the entry bracelet, which is available in all wineries and costs EUR 25 – valid for both days in all three wine-growing regions. Of course, there is also the opportunity to strengthen yourself between visits to the wineries: In addition to the Heurigen, which are open this weekend, restaurants (reservation recommended) also offer their services, and some wineries also serve wine delicacies or work together with mobile restaurateurs such as food trucks.
All participating winegrowers can be found on the wine spring map, which is available in printed form in the wineries.
