The constructive tendencies of the last years have incorporated in the conception of the real estate project elements of sustainability in order to achieve better energy efficiency by taking advantage of the environment where they are located. Thermal insulation, glass skin, natural paints, incorporation of wood and cellulose, steel cores, designs passive houseCO² emission compensation programs, waste management and recycling have been to a greater or lesser extent the responses of the market to the environmental impact caused by the construction of a building. Although all these solutions are direct actions to counteract climate change, they are mainly focused on real estate development, not on occupation and the human experience of use and interaction with the building.
