And why me? Because I would have liked them to sing the joust for me too. Because my path as an entrepreneur began a little over eight years ago. first with MyBus to finally lay the groundwork for Wallabee. Because throughout this process I went through many experiences that undoubtedly formed my vision as CEO and I want to share it with you so that you too can be your best version.

And also, because lately I did a lot of mathematics, which made me aware of how important self-administration. Let’s think about the following: How much time do we have in 8 years? 2,920 days, 70,080 hours, more than 4 million minutes and not counting the seconds. However, How many minutes did I invest in my health, family, friends or well-being? Very few. Only 3 moments in 8 years, 2,920 days, plenty of hours and innumerable seconds and even some times followed each other without vacationing. Of course this is not an example to preach, but to teach.

To teach, for example, that these statistics are crossed by false limiting beliefs. When starting out, it is believed that more time equals more growth, and the truth? More time is synonymous with time bomb. I’ve been through bouts of anxiety, panic attacks, sleeping pills that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. The body sent me endless signals that I needed to “stop the ball” and although I didn’t catch them at first, fortunately today I learned to live without having an internal bomb about to explode. But it’s not always like this. When the damage is done, it is sometimes irrefutable. And I don’t want it to come to that.

If I started over, I’d allow myself too live many issues differently. Y time, so precious that it hurtsInterestingly, it is one of them. For this reason, I invite you who are on the other side, who perhaps are just starting a project, or have already spent hours and hours invested in it, to take your time. Time for you, to reflect, to grow at your own pace. It’s the moment.

Dare to break with the cognitive biases that make us believe that a @ really can not accommodate or stop because everything is urgent. Nobody rushes you. A team is eagerly waiting to be led by youbut first he needs you take care. Because to give, you have to receive. And in this case, I recommend that you get the most you can from you.

A wise mentor who was out there once taught me a phrase that I kept forever: “TBoth in life and at work, there are actions or moments that multiply by 1, others that multiply by 5 and others by 10″. The focus has to be on what multiplies the most because surely the rest can wait. And with this vision, what you thought was urgent, is not so urgent anymore.

Even look how curious: all learning as such is better received and assimilated when the mind is calm, say those who know, obviously. So rest! Did you want the formula to grow? A few paragraphs above I told you that most believe that more time spent at work equals rapid growth, but it is the other way around! More time invested in you, in your mental rest, brings clarity of ideas and guaranteed success. And not to mention when all this is accompanied by a team equally motivated and protected by their work environment. The famous positive work environment.

At Ualabee, for example, we try to apply all these techniques in our benefits policy. With it, employees have 3 weeks of vacation from the first day they start their career in the company, free English classes, the possibility of choosing 100% remote, hybrid or face-to-face work depending on their tastes and needs, and break in the office. In fact, we really want to add a role in the team so that it is responsible only for the corporate wellness.

Having said all this, I want to close by being clear that beyond everything, the good, the bad, the easy, the difficult, etc., the life of a CEO, an entrepreneur or a founder is sometimes lonely. But assimilating it and not being surprised is part of the good process. It is what is good. Y organization is key to time management -the most important asset we have and the protagonist of this article- and the uphills that may come.

In this line, I advise you to use tools that help you organize your tasks. In my case, I was always quite neat regarding management and planning, starting from team methodologies (such as OKRs) until the personal agenda. I am convinced that the only way to grow is grow tidy. And far from taking the “processes” as something bureaucratic, I am always promoting the creation of agile processes, rethinking what no longer works and medium and long-term planning for the work team.

On the other hand, I reserve certain daily spaces to enhance my well-being: in the morning, the first two hours I use for reading or reviewing some pending topic, 3 days a week I train and I also do therapy with a psychologist to get to know myself a little better and share what I need to get out.

Now yes, you are ready or ready to take off. Let’s fly together and who tells you, tomorrow you’ll be the one to give me advice. That’s what it’s all about!
