Since Calm was born, we have invoiced more than $1.4 billion, we sold more than 28,500 mattressesand we are the first national brand in the sleep industry that offers 30 days trial. Trying to be more complete and faithful to our community, we recently launched more than 10 new products on the market, among which a line of mattresses specifically for babies and another for dogs.
Something essential and that we do not negotiate in Calm is the always mission to provide the best shopping experience: personalized treatment, guarantee delivery times of 24 hours. in CABA and 96 h. in the rest of the country. Therefore, for this special week we prepare and reinforce teams in a different way, so that the great interest in having our products does not affect performance and distribution. Offering a nice shopping experience motivates us to seek to be better and better.
We start preparing with three months in advance with weekly meetings where each Area Manager presents their strategy to reach more and more people.
We extended the online service hours by 3 hours, being during the Hot Sale from 8:00 am to 0:00, and quadrupling the team that attends to all kinds of queries. Likewise, we increased the delivery fleet, taking it from 3 to 35 trucks; receiving all the drivers an appropriate training so that the delivery is the same as always. Both drivers and trucks are branded so they can easily recognize us.
Finally, We expanded our warehouse, going from a space of 1,000 m2 to 2,000 m2.
Diversity as a flag
And now I want to talk about another essential aspect in Calm: diversity as a flag. We quadrupled the customer service team through the temporary hiring of people who join a week before the Hot Sale and are trained in everything necessary.
We carried out many group interviews and more than 25 individual interviews. For this process, we contacted the ONG Contratá Trans and we managed to make one of those group interviews exclusively for people from the trans community.
We created a super safe and diverse space thanks to the fact that within our team we have a trans femininity, which made the meeting take place in the best way and these people could have a very good interview experience and express themselves as they are. .
We are proud of the bond with our audience. The Hot Sale is the time to revalidate everything that has been done so far and further strengthen that link. It is a relationship that does not end with the click of “pay” but continues during the delivery process and, even more so, every time a person chooses a Calm product for something as valuable as her rest.
We come to “wake up the dream industry”, an industry that was asleep and we want to revolutionize it. For this reason, for this Hot Sale we prepare in the best way and we hope to live up to what our community deserves.
