fair play
It is quite clear that the salaries of sports professionals (regardless of whether they are women or men) depend on the respective market environment. When Real Madrid star David Alaba kicks, there is a lot more money involved than when Arsenal goalkeeper Manuela Zinsberger saves. The different salary levels at club level are not misogynistic, but plausible.
When professionals don’t play for their club but for the national team, the situation is different. It would be good if the associations, as in the USA or Denmark, were able to align the premiums. The gentlemen millionaires could reduce their fee demands so that their female colleagues earn more. That’s a naive notion. But it would correspond to the fair play idea.

Income/Costs
If it was up to me, my daughter would have earned the best and most expensive education in the world. It just won’t work out because I don’t have the financial resources to do it.
Maybe this comparison is wrong in relation to women’s football. But I can at least understand that the same amounts cannot be paid out if the income from the sale of tickets, sponsorship packages and TV rights is not in the millions. On this topic, the assessments of many players are realistic and not utopian.
The ÖFB, but also politicians, have a duty to create and redistribute the conditions for professional training conditions.
