Neither the climate crisis nor our other challenges can be solved with activism (sticking to works of art or elsewhere) or political opportunism, which nips every positive approach in the bud. Hard, consistent work, innovative spirit, use of technology, collaboration across ideological barriers and a growing awareness that the party is over are required. With the often cited work-life balance, the necessary focus will have to shift towards “work”.
